September Makeup Look | SOPHXMUR

Whenever I hear about YouTubers coming out with products I am always intrigued to see what they are like and how they are different to anything else out there. When Soph came out with her makeup products, I was no different. I was so intrigued. I had watched her videos about them, her talking us through each individual shadow and highlighter and seen the swatches and I knew I had to try them for myself. One major thing I love about Soph in general is how she is such a drugstore girl and yes her products are drugstore but the quality is incredible. She did such a good job and I had to write a post about a specific look I am loving using these products.

First, look at this palette! There are so many looks and colour combinations you can try and there is the perfect balance of mattes and shimmers.

I started by creating a warm smokey eye using Penguin, Pancakes and Iced Coffee all over the lid and blending up into the crease.  I then applied Cuppa Tea, Peaches and Cloudberry all through the crease and ensured it was thoroughly blended. I kept adding more deeper colours like Tiramisu, Pug, Pumpkin and and Rosewood to the outside corner to give the eye more dimension and depth; I wanted there to be a visible gradient of colour.  Finally, I delved into possibly my favourite colour in the whole palette, Petrol and packed this onto the lid. I would never normally be drawn to this colour but it is incredible and I just had to use it.

If you have been an avid reader of my blog or stalker of my social medias you will know winged eyeliner was my life but I did not apply it for this look and I am kind of loving it! What's happened to your girl?! Where there is no wings add lashes and that was my motto for this look, so the old faithful Eyelure lashes made an appearance.

Now Soph is the queen of highlight so I expected nothing less than a full on glow from this palette and yes she delivered! I love how she has created a palette that gives all skin tones a glow! I did end up mixing loads of the colours together because I wanted to test them all! I took the whole top row along with each of the end shades from the bottom row and they look incredible!

A nude lip has never strayed too far away from my face but I have now somehow managed to turn it a little more autumnal. I have tried L.A. Girl lipliners for the first time and fell in love. The shade I tried on this look in particular is Spice and then I used a Real Technique lip brush to apply Maybelline's 930 Nude Embrace to the centre to create an ombre' lip.

These are how I have been incorporating Soph's makeup products into my routine along with finding a new look I absolutely love!

Have you tried these products?

Much love
